Whether you’re new to AI or looking to advance your expertise, this immersive experience features expert-led sessions, hands-on learning, and real-world demonstrations tailored to the needs of IPC professionals. Attendees will leave equipped with actionable tools and strategies to responsibly integrate AI into their IPC initiatives and drive meaningful improvements within their facilities.


Bassel Molaeb

Healthcare Advisor, Trainer & Infection Prevention and Control Consultant, The Compass Health Consultancy, Dubai, UAE

Bassel Molaeb is the Healthcare Advisor, Trainer, and IPC Consultant for The Compass Health Consultancy in the UAE. He is an IPC expert with over 15 years of experience and has served as a consultant for several organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO) Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office (EMRO). He was selected as the 2019 International Ambassador for SHEA and currently serves as a member of the SHEA Awards Committee. He is also a Fellow and Hero of APIC and served on multiple APIC committees and task forces. Bassel holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and is board certified in infection prevention and control (CIC) by CBIC. He is currently a PhD candidate in Public Health at Lancaster University (UK), with research interests focused on the application of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in IPC training and education.

Isis Lamphier

Director of Infection Prevention, HCA Florida Brandon Hospital

Isis Lamphier, MPH, CIC, is a board-certified Infection Preventionist. She is the Director of Infection Prevention and Control at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital in Florida. Her passion for infection prevention and control was ignited after successfully attaining a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Florida. Prior to her current role in the hospital setting, Lamphier gained valuable experience working at both the county health department and a long-term care facility. She also serves as an author and editorial advisory board member for healthcare publications such as Infection Control Today and the Joint Commissions’ The Source. She is a member and board member of several infection prevention and control organizations and actively engages with other infection preventionists.

Brenna Doran

CEO, Innovative Partners Institute

Dr. Brenna Doran, PhD, MA, ACC, CIC, AL-CIP is a leader in infectious disease epidemiology with over two decades of experience spanning clinical microbiology, infection prevention, biosecurity, and education. As CEO of Innovative Partners Institute, she integrates technical expertise with coaching to advance leadership and well-being. She also serves as a government contractor in biodefense and adjunct professor of biological sciences. Dr. Doran's research and writing focus on the issues that matter most to the IP workforce: retention, burnout, staffing, and professional development. She is a member of the Infection Control Today editorial panel, a peer reviewer for AJIC and other research journals, and the author of the column "IP Lifeline" and co-host of the podcast Contagious Conversations for Infection Control Today. Her interest in emerging technology, including the application of artificial intelligence in infection prevention practice, reflects her ongoing commitment to equipping IPs with tools for the future.
